400W Dedo

The 400w Dedo HMI can be used in a similar way to a Fresnel 575. Due to its unique lens system it puts out the same amount of light despite being only 400W. It is capable of focusing to a very narrow beam useful if you’re trying to backlight something a long way away. The head is very compact and the lightweight, flicker free electronic ballast has dimming and adjusts automatically to varying mains voltages. Very handy when travelling abroad. I have used it with an umbrella as a soft key and open to backlight or pick things out in daylight.

I have travelled extensively with this light because it’s small and light enough to fly without breaking the bank.
